Please keep in mind that we have only six weeks left before Concert 2022 goes on stage. Attendance at rehearsals has not been up to par. If your child/dancer has already missed several rehearsals, they must not miss any more! Many classes are combined with others for their performance pieces. They must be properly prepared by being aware of these changes made only during rehearsals. We will appreciate your efforts in remaining committed to the success of these performances.
In-Person Registration now available on Mondays and Thursdays by appointment. Walk-ins welcome Saturdays.
CBA will offer a fully Intensive Summer Program for five weeks - July 5 through August 6. We are excited to announce that Caitlin Murray will teach Musical Theatre Workshops for two different age groups this summer. CBA plans to expand the BAE into a new sector emphasizing tap, jazz and Musical Theatre in the near future. Students interested in this type of program should definitely try classes this summer. BAE director, Dustin Kimball, will choreograph a new ballet this summer and CBA Director, Debra Savage, will recreate Richard Rholdons’ DeLovely, both to be performed in the Fall Concert. We encourage all BAE members and prospects to attend all five weeks in order to engage in these opportunities, and to qualify for the BAE trip to NYC.
Please keep in mind that all classes will continue to be limited in size. If you have not yet registered for summer, we suggest that you do so ASAP. Registration is now open to families outside of CBA.
Children’s Morning Dance Camps are available for children ages 3 through 10. Camps are 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours long, depending on the age level. It is suggested that Ballet IIC students prepare for beginning Pre-Pointe in the fall, by attending Summer Intensive Camp E. Pointe students should continue training in the summer by attending Summer Intensive Camps B, C, D. Feel free to contact the front desk regarding Summer Camp placements for you CBA dancer.
BAE and Jr. Ensemble members are required to re-apply for membership for the 2022-23 School year. Students that have been invited to join are also encouraged to apply. Applications will be available in mid-May and will be due by June 11.
